With 30 years experience in Australia’s automotive industry, John’s understanding of how to drive performance in the world of automotive retailing is instinctive.
His journey has moved from salesman to sales manager to general manager, to becoming a dealer principal managing four franchises of his own. John has also worked within the world of manufacturer wholesale, with responsibility for dealers’ performance. The architect of ‘central scoreboard’, a system which monitors daily retail performance enabling dealers and sales managers to focus on the issues that impact sales team performance.
Member of the Australian Sales Institute and Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment holder his mix of retail and wholesale experience provides a balanced approach in defining and tackling the issues and outcomes faced by businesses today.
Tim brings a global perspective to Reconnections, having worked closely with OEMs and car dealerships around the world.
His 18 years experience in the automotive industry includes 10 years as a founding director of the The Ultimate Perspective (TUP) Group, which worked with all major automotive OEMs and grew to over 200 people across Europe, USA and Australasia.
Tim has worked at both a dealer level, implementing change management programs, sales and service marketing initiatives, business improvement programs, and CSI and CRM programs; and at manufacturer level on a wide range of strategic programs.
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment qualified his extensive understanding of wholesale and distribution business models are invaluable in the delivery of Reconnections programs.
Graeme’s career commenced on the creative side of marketing and has evolved to include national business management responsibilities within advertising, retail marketing and communications, His unique mix of retail insights coupled with his creative mind and common sense approach to leading and motivating people. Coupled with his high order project management and making things expertise, has allowed him to develop great flexibility and know how across the communications business from client, consulting, brand, service and organizational perspectives.
He has an Hons degree in Arts, Education, as well as qualifications in Marketing Communications and as Work place Trainer and Assessor. Always looking for a better way he has been instrumental in the development and delivery of a new higher education study program’s establishment in Australia and South East Asia.. And his resourcefulness, experiences in retail sales leading and motivating people to achieve their potential has earned him invitations to present and conduct seminars and workshops across a variety of topics in commercial and educational settings.
Allan Marsh
Allan first started in automotive retail in 1999.
Allan quickly worked his way up the dealership hierarchy spending time selling on the showroom floor, becoming a sales manager, being appointed general manager and finally achieving his goal as an equity holder/ Dealer Principal in both a premium and high volume franchise.
With a degree in Business specialising in Information Technology and Management, Allan's passion is fusing technology, process and the art of sales together. This delicate balance is the foundation for a strong, profitable and sustainable dealership operation.
Allan has experience in both a major metropolitan high volume group dealership as well as a rural environment.
Before entering the world of automotive retailing Allan spent time with a DBMS supplier to the automotive retail industry. This was a great opportunity to gain an insight into various retail dealership operations, large and small, giving him a greater understanding of dealership operations within many markets.
David Kaylor
David is recognised as a leading trainer and consultant within the automotive industry, at both OEM and retail levels.
With more than 20 years experience in training and development, which during that time, included responsibility for developing training programs for some of Australia's most respected automotive brands, David’s professional development workshops and learning programs achieved outstanding results. Today, using all that past experience, David is able to provide professional cutting edge learning programs with total credibility.
David holds a degree in adult education and training, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and is an accredited practitioner with the Australian Institute of Training and Development
Glenn worked for many years with Toyota both in Australia and Japan becoming an expert practitioner in customer satisfaction / employee engagement and lean efficiency processes for the automotive industry. From qualifying as a technician and working his way through most areas of the automotive industry, at both retail and manufacturer, he brings huge experience to the Reconnections team. Adrian joined the Reconnections team to launch the e-GoodManners Sales Lead Management system onto the Australian automotive market.
With 18 years experience in process-oriented industries, including finance, information technology and aviation, Adrian firmly believes in the use of systems and procedures to achieve long-term gains.
During his varied career, Adrian spent 10 years in aviation where he ultimately became a Regional Airline Captain with a Qantas affiliate.
Donna is our exceptional Office Manager. She is responsible for running the office and managing the day to day accounting requirements as well as coordinating a diversity of requirements including training programs and special events. She is also involved in assisting with e-GoodManners support and training.
